Our Fun, Germ-Filled Trip To Folsom

Here are the some pictures from our latest trip to Folsom. We had a great time, besides having to leave a day early due to Olive's 105 degree temperature that neither Tylonol or Motrin would help.

The kids love bathing together. No, they are not bathing in Bermuda, the water is a beautiful shade of turquoise due to Jackson's Crayola bath tabs that change the water into fun colors. One night Olive put a purple one in her mouth thinking it was a vitamin. Good times.

The second day we were there, Kasey and I took the kids to "Bounce-opolis" where they bounced their little hearts out and came in contact with every form of the flu virus known to man.

This was the first and last time Olive attempted the Super Slide.

Kasey with her own personal boxing gloves knocking out every kid who came in contact with her.
Seriously.
That little boy behind her is a total stranger. He went down faster than he could mutter the word, "MOMMY!!".
After this picture was taken, her gloves were confiscated and she was asked to leave.

On the third day we all went bowling. Ryan recommended this clean and family-friendly local bowling alley. Ryan frequents this place after a hard day's work to regroup and unwind over a plate of chicken wings and a little Texas Hold Em. It's like a second home to him. I can see why, the place practically screams COZY.

The kids in their cute, contaminated shoes.

Since this was the first time Olive bowled, this is a perfect example of what I did for the hour we were there. When it was her turn to bowl, she would pick up her ball and throw it on the ground wherever she pleased. I did a lot of retrieving. And laughing.

Me and my professional bowler.

Kasey and the "babies" bowling. The average time it took the ball to get to the pins when either Olive or Riley bowled was a good minute and a half.

Jackson "King Pin" Jibson.

The ill fated day when Olive woke up hung over from all the fun and bed ridden due to a horrendously high fever. The boys crawled into bed with her and read her stories. So sweet, yet so contagious.
We all had a fantastic time and were able to fit a bunch of great outings in before Germ Fest 2008 began it's reign of terror over the Guillen and Jibson families.
I can't wait to go back!

No wonder you all got sick! All of your activities where crawling with disease! Please don't tell me you also spent time at the petting zoo and volunteering at the homeless shelter.

Kasey doesn't mess around!!!!
So I am thanking my lucky stars that I did not end up on that particular trip, or 1. katie would still be in the hospital with a breathing tube 2. I would be in the hospital from my water breaking during bowling and getting punched out by kasey.
So much for sitting on the couch eating candy all day... you guys were in freakin' training for American Gladiators!!!!

Shawna you are back to blogging with a vengence! So many posts! I'm glad you are well - Olive is beautiful - Kasey's looks like it was fun - her guest bed looks very cute - I can't believe she let her boys snuggle with your sick sweetheart - and did you set up her blog? If not I am going to set one up for her - I think I can get enough pictures off of your blog to get it going!
