As I single-handedly polished off the remains of a tray of fudge I made (for a party but never made it to the table because I didn't want to share), I had a thought.
Two thoughts, actually:
1. Close all curtains and blinds to ensure NO witnesses to my one man fudge eating contest.
2. What better way to embarrass myself by boasting about what my 123 pound body is capable of consuming in a weekly, daily, or perhaps hourly blog post?
So, what do you say?
Are you with me?
What are you "secretly" ingesting this magical, holiday season?
Let me know.
It feels good to get it off your chest and share.
Speaking of sharing, when describing what it is exactly you devoured that day, don't forget to include the recipe if possible.
So, without further ado, here it goes:
TODAY I DEVOURED.......

'Tis the season to devour!
I've been too busy working and rushing around lately to devour, but I will update you the next chance I get to do some secret eating!
Chex Muddy Buddies! I can eat a whole pan in a matter of a few days. Every time I walk in the kitchen I have a little snack. So so bad.
9 cups Corn Chex®, Rice Chex®, Wheat Chex® or Chocolate Chex® cereal (or combination)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1. Into large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
2. In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
3. Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
"Season's Eating"...Love it.
I was going to blog about my guilt the other day. I love no bake cookies. I never buy OATS because I know I can't resist the cookie. I had to buy those blasted oats for another recipe and knew I'd be in trouble. Let's just say Matthew doesn't like them so he maybe had 1.5 cookies. Collin didn't know about them. And they somehow disappeared in 2 days. Whoops!
well as I read this i just so happen to be enjoying a salami sandwich with extra cheese, macaroni salad and a regular dr pepper.
Last night I polished off the rest of my kirkland box of chocolate I bought myself after enjoying a sample.
CINNAMON ROLLS & Scones. I can't get enough.
I ate some of the rolos I got last night from Stacy's gift, it was 9:00 in the morning!
I have to make oreo balls on Friday for the holiday dessert party on Friday, so I know of few of those might be devoured too! OOPS!
Great post Shawna! All husbands should monitor your blog to find out their wives secrets!!! =) I'm going to throw away the rest of those muddy buddies right now. (SC post???)
oh shoot. thankfully i just hid my secret stash of sees really well!
which by the way, i consumed more than half of the box today.
Don't worry about us. I brought home a leftover peach pie from enrichment night at church on tuesday. It was gone by wed afternoon. brock fed it to the kids for breakfast (don't even get me started) and I finished it off.
Umm... I weighed 123 pounds in 4th grade.
End of story.
Oh! And it's 11:06 pm and I just polished off a HUGE bowl of Crispix with Splenda. Yum.
Recipe:
1 bowl
2 cups of Crispix
1 cup of milk
3 packets of splenda
1 spoon
